Leukoplast skin adhesive

Leukoplast skin adhesive is a sterile, viscous skin adhesive for topical skin closure. The high viscosity enables precise application of Leukoplast skin adhesive and reduces the risk of the skin adhesive accidentally running into unwanted areas. With only one adhesive layer, the skin adhesive ensures quick and easy application and adapts flexibly to the skin. Leukoplast skin adhesive has a 2-in-1 applicator for a versatile range of applications. The fine side of the applicator is suitable for precise wound closure. The wide side can also be used to apply a broad protective film by gripping around it. The skin adhesive polymerises within a short time due to the existing skin moisture to form a flexible film that holds the wound edges securely together and protects the wound. For easy dispensing, Leukoplast skin adhesive is supplied in an aluminium tube with a 2-in-1 applicator that is ready to use immediately.

Leukoplast skin adhesive consists of 2-octyl and n-butyl cyanoacrylate monomers, which are coloured slightly purple for better visibility.
